This clever and effective back traction device was invented by Jeff Callander, an engineer, who needed to relieve his own back pain.

After suffering back pain due to a combination of old injuries, extensive travelling, muscle spasms, tension and stress, Jeff discovered simple and gentle spine decompression or traction helped his back enormously.

With nothing on the market to meet his needs, Jeff developed the Impleo.

• Therapy should not be painful
• Straps, harnesses, bumps or knobbly bits should be avoided
• You cannot relax your back if you create additional pain

• Gentle traction to decompress the spine
• Avoiding displaced stress or additional pain in the ankles, knees, neck and other areas, often caused by equipment using straps, harnesses, belts or awkward positions
• Having knees bent and above the plane of the spine
• Some curvature aimed at the upper back, not the lumbar area
• Stretching the entire length of the back
